A great hotel, in an ideal location. Wetherspoon type meals, perfect if you’re on a budget! Parking can be tricky, there’s a cheap all day parking lot near by, but it fills up quickly. Obliging staff. Highly recommended for a short term break!

Went for lunch as a family group of 8 on New Years Eve. The pub was very busy but we managed to find two tables close by. The service at the bar was excellent, served by Adele who was helpful with dealing with a food order for my peanut allergic son. Ordered 8 meals and drinks, and was informed it would be a 45 minute wait for food. Totally acceptable given how packed the pub was. However, the food arrived within 25 minutes, hot and freshly cooked. The allergy information in the app was excellent, even listing ingredients as well as allergens. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience here.

Very good, not to loud for a Weatherspoons. We ordered the sweet potatoes curry, which I loved. And my husband had the steak & Ale pudding which he said was good value for money and the portion size was good, but not stupidly huge.

We have stayed at the globe on numerous occasions, and found it's location very convenient for the transport hub, . convenient for the north norfolk coast, with a frequent bus service from King Lynn, the room we had was very well appointed and apart from the first days breakfast the food was very good, the first day was a Sunday and it was very busy, approx 1 hour wait for food, when it came it was cold we complained and got our money back. We will probably return as the staff were friendly and obliging. We have stayed at a few of Wetherspoon hotels and found them all very similar to the globe

Great value for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have rooms but have never stayed. Ver convenient for parking in central Kings Lynn. Park in Tuesday market square or behind corn exchange theatre.

I’ll be honest — I was pretty sceptical about staying at the Globe Hotel, mainly because it’s part of the Wetherspoons chain. I was fully expecting noise issues, a tired room, and the kind of experience you often hear negative stories about. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case at all. For the price I paid, the room was excellent value. It was very clean, with no stains anywhere, and the bed was genuinely comfortable. I slept really well — the mattress was firm (which I like) and the pillows were nicely supportive rather than soft and floppy. The shower (over the bath) had a powerful water supply and the water was very hot, which is always a win after a long day. There’s no air conditioning in the room, but a Dyson fan was provided (the circular bladeless type), which worked perfectly well and kept the room comfortable. The TV was a decent size, although the channel selection was a bit limited and a few didn’t seem to work — not a deal-breaker for me. The complimentary internet was excellent, delivering around 200Mb download and 50–60Mb upload speeds — more than adequate for work and noticeably better than many hotels. There were also some really nice touches: Galaxy hot chocolate sachets, Walkers biscuits, and two complimentary bottles of water alongside the usual tea and coffee facilities. Small things, but they do make a difference. The hotel has a separate entrance from the main pub, which I appreciated, and check-in was quick and efficient. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, which set the tone nicely. Parking was straightforward too — just across the road in Tuesday Market Place, costing £3 for the whole night. Given that the budget hotels in the King’s Lynn area were significantly more expensive at the time — and arguably offer poorer facilities — this will definitely be my go-to place when I’m staying in KL each month. Pleasantly surprised, and very happy to recommend it.

I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Globe in King’s Lynn. We ordered 12 shots and 2 cocktails for our group of four, and after that, the staff refused to serve us anything else — not even food at our table. They told us they would refund the money within 7 days, even though we needed it immediately. The customer service was extremely poor, and the staff spoke to us very rudely. We couldn’t even finish our food because we were not allowed to order any drinks and were basically told to leave. I will never go back to Globe again, and I’ll be telling my friends about the unacceptable way we were treated.!!!! Pooor getting poor!!!! Straight away left the review after
